Raymon Adams – Daniel Loos Scout Looks
Saturday afternoon I caught intense drillwork from four of the Tennessee campers. Read about their performances in this very prestigious event. For what it is worth, players are grouped together somewhat haphazardly into teams. The drill within their team and rotate throughout the gym.

The College Basketball Academy (NCAA) is in its first iteration. The Midwest portion, there are four academies nationwide, was divided into two sessions. This list focuses on Session II only. It will take place at the University of Illinois (Champaign, Illinois) and include players from all over the Midwest and for some reason South Carolina (ranking listed left of their name).
#20 Raymon Adams (Lipscomb Academy) 2021
Raymon is more intense Saturday than Friday. He looked either lethargic or a little shy Friday afternoon. His consistent commitment is more apparent today.
Raymon's floater finished for him a couple times.
Raymon definitely needs a better chest and upper body strength is lacking at the elite prospect level. He can get bumped off his path with a strong defensive arm. Raymon's potential is among the best of the forwards in attendance, though there are requirements to reach that (more grit, more broad frame).
He is defending the forward spot in three-on-three drills. Is he a 4? Is he a 2/3? Raymon Adams plays like he is intent on being a college forward, which is nice. Ideally, he would grow an inch to 6-foot-7 to avoid being a tweener. He has the agility to morph into a wing though. It will be interesting to see his development.

#53 Daniel Loos (Clarksville Academy) 2020
Daniel Loos always looks better underneath the tin. He was, and is usually, wonderful with his shoulders. The perimeter defense looks better and his lateral mobility continues to improve. Loos did not hit shots and he was visibly frustrated. Shooting beyond 10' and defending away from the basket are his two areas that must improve. They are what the modern game is. Can you hit a three pointer? Can you defend a three pointer? He is closer on the latter right now.
Currently, @LoosWdloos and @_rayadams are grouped together in a 3 vs. 3 drill. They are playing well, but lost the last matchup. Facing a smaller opponent, they are utilizing Loos' post skills, which are wonderful for a wing. @931HoopsReport
