5 2020 Stock Risers (7/15)

<p>Over the weekend, several 2020 athletes played very well. Some athletes elevated their play. Kids were picking up offers, interest, and turning some heads. As the AAU season is coming to a close, 2020 prospects will shift their focus to preparations for the fall.</p> <p><strong>Tavion Williams (Alabama Celtics)- </strong>This kid has really caught people's attention for his motor, athleticism, rebounding, and rim protection. Williams has the ability to knock down 15-18ft jumpers, but his bread and butter is hustling. He has good size at 6'7, and would be a great get at the D2 level. </p> <p><strong>Trey Bonham (Team Carroll)- </strong>This kid has really kicked it up a notch in June and July. Honestly, the best thing for Bonham was Jayden Stone's absence from the team. That gave the 5'11-6' point guard the opportunity to be a primary weapon on the perimeter. Scoring and making plays off the bounce are strong areas for this 2020 floor general.</p> <p><strong>Zane Nelson (Hawks Elite)- </strong>Nelson was very consistent on both ends of the floor through the summer. The 6'2 guard has a smooth stroke and can play on/off the ball. Nelson showed the ability to heat up in a hurry this weekend. An aspect of his game that constantly gets mentioned is his composure.</p> <p><strong>Holt Bashinksy (Pro One Select)- </strong>Holt is a 6'4-6'5 sniper. He shot the ball at a very high level over the weekend. He has really great positional size and length on the perimeter. Holt is a tough kid and a winner. This kid will be on someone's roster at the next level and have an impact.</p> <p><strong>De'Marquiese Miles (PCBC Stars)- </strong>Duke looked dominant over the weekend. This kid has a strong frame and is an absolute dog. At the Elite 32, Duke picked up an offer from FIU. Playing with the PCBC Stars gave the 6'1-6'2 point guard an opportunity to have the ball in his hands more. He took advantage of that and averaged 24 through the weekend.</p>
