There were a total of 12 colleges/university which attended the event in Houston, Texas. This was a non-live event and the schools where (D2, D3, NAIA, and JuCo). Here is my notebook from the event.

Houston Raptors [Benjamin] who is ranked 4th on the Prep Hoops Circuit Grind Region 17U. Won the event and had solid play from 1st teamer Jordan Ivy-Curry click his name for more articles. They also had solid play from Kylon Bryant a 6'6 F class of 2019 who just recently picked up an NCAA D2 offer. 2020 Terry Anderson a 6'6 SF was really big for them in the Title Game as he poured in 20 points and pulled down 9 rebounds. He can knock down outside shots and has solid footwork and moves from the high post position.

RL9 [Willis] is a top independent team from the Greater Houston area who is sponsored by former NBA player Rashard Lewis. Has three prospect who really got it going and played consistently at the event. Ethan Yancy a 6'4 SG class of 2020 just received an offer from Bethel College (NAIA) in Kansas. He is a sharpshooter from behind the arc and plays above the rim at times. Add 2020 6'7 SF in Kenyon Holcombe who has splurged onto the scene this Spring/Summer and can hurt you inside and out. 6'8 PF Kingsley Ijeoma also the class of 2020 who is a force down low on both sides of the ball. A put-back king. Helped guide them to the Championship Game.

Texas Takeover Elite [Myron] was a team full of unsigned seniors and was led by James Harrison Jr a 6'0 PG who recently committed to Bethany College (NAIA) in Kansas. He was on the prowl and showcased his ability to score and facilitate. Controlled the game from start to finish. They also had strong defensive play by 5'10 PG Jalen Crawford who has committed to Our Lady of the Lakes University (NAIA) in Texas. He was a menace on the ball and giving opponents fits with his peskiness.

Here is a list of 25 Prospects that stood out who didn't make the 1st or 2nd team of the event:

Daniel Contreras 6'7 PF / Houston Northside HS / 2020 [Beast Elite]

Angelo Stutts 5'11 G / Houston Northside HS / 2020 [Beast Elite]

Kyle Arclies 6'3 F / Baytown Sterling HS / 2020 [Defenders Rising Stars]

Elijah Lee 6'5 SF / Spring Westfield HS / 2020 [Houston Flight]

Jahreese Jordan 5'9 PG / Cypress Creek HS / 2020 [Houston Nets]

Chris Harris 5'11 PG / Fort Bend Hightower HS / 2020 [Houston Raptors - Benjamin]

Connell Olivacce 5'10 PG / Rosenberg Terry HS / 2020 [Houston Raptors - Jackson]

Jordan Johnson 6'2 SG / Houston Bellaire HS / 2020 [Houston Raptors - Jackson]

Jake Simpson 6'4 SF / Brazoswood HS / 2021 [Houston Raptors 16U]

Brandon Love 6'7 PF / Fort Bend Bush HS / 2021 [Houston Raptors 16U]

Brycen Perkins 6'3 SG / Klein Collins HS / 2020 [RL9 - BJ]

Nicholas Buchanan 5'11 G / Har-Ber HS {AR} / 2020 [San Antonio Tarheels]

Kobe Barker 5'10 PG / Har-ber HS {AR} / 2022 [San Antonio Tarheels]

Myles Wilburn 5'7 PG / Fort Bend Clements / 2020 [Team Backourt]

Andrew Ross 6'3 G / Alvin HS / 2020 [Team Backourt]

Reece Peel 6'5 SG / College Station A&M Consolidated HS / 2020 [Team Evolution]

Marc Batts 6'7 PF / Houston Yates HS / 2020 [Team Evolution]

Ronnie Chaney 6'5 PF / Angleton HS / 2019 [Texas Jazz Elite]

Torreon Bergeon 5'11 G / Spring HS / 2019 [Texas Takeover Elite - Myron]

Jaren Holmes 6'3 G / Houston North Forest HS / 2019 [Texas Takeover Elite - Myron]

Cameron Clardy 5'11 PG / Bridgeland HS / 2020 [Texas Takeover Elite - Ned]

Jaren James 5'10 PG / Martinsville HS / 2019 [Third Coast Hurricanes]

Hayden Ryals 6'4 SF / Deer Park HS / 2020 [Third Coast Hurricanes]

Christon Gilford 6'1 F / Deer Park HS / 2020 [Third Coast Hurricanes]

Tyler Webb 6'2 F / Deer Park HS / 2020 [Third Coast Hurricanes]

For stats from the entire tournament click the link here https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/663578_fe41631f254148ea9689ea1e4963dfcc.pdf

For more information on prospects strengths and weaknesses please contact me via email gday@bshscouting.com or twitter @GDayHoopScout
