The July open period is two weeks away and most programs are looking for their first commit in the 2020 class.  However, when doors open in two Wednesdays there are some programs that will walk through with comfort of looking to build on previous commitments.  Here are the top 25 committed 2020 talents.

Jeremy Roach - Duke (1). The Blue Devils scored the highest early season commitment in May when five star, 14th ranked Jeremy Roach picked Duke over Kentucky, Villanova, and others.  Roach is a 6-foot-2 point guard that will join Tre Jones or replace the returning Blue Devils leader next season.

Corey Walker - Tennessee (2). Six-foot-6 wing Corey Walker is the other five star talent that has already made a decision.  Walker was the first top 25 level player to make a decision when he committed to Tennessee in early March (the day after the Vols beat Kentucky improving their record to 26-3 on the season).

Ethan Morton - Purdue (3).  Morton has 4.5 stars next to his name in the Prep Hoops rankings (ranked 38th overall) and when he selected Matt Painter as his future coach the 6-foot-4 wing picked the school over offers from half the Big Ten.  Morton is the highest rated 2020 in the state of Pennsylvania.

Julian Strawther - Gonzaga (4).  Mark Few currently has the 4th ranked recruiting class in 2019 but he's also hit the ground running with his 2020 group as well.  Strawther is a top 40 ranked player in the Prep Hoops rankings and he committed to Few in April.  Strawther is now hoping to help Few and the Bulldogs land 5-star prize Jalen Suggs.

Day'Ron Sharpe - North Carolina (5).  Sharpe has been committed to UNC Head Coach Roy Williams for over a year.  Sharpe is a 6-foot-10, 4.5 star talent out of Winterville, North Carolina ranked 41st in the country.  Sharpe had early offers from Florida, Virginia, and several others.

Reece Beekman

Reece Beekman - Virginia (6).  Reece is a top 50 talent nationally who looks to bring more championship gold to the Virginia program.  Beekman has played high school basketball in both Wisconsin and Louisiana, and right now competes for Phenom University, the 3rd ranked 17u team in the nation.

Shon Robinson - Ole Miss (7).  Rebel fans rejoiced this spring when the 6-foot-10 Robinson, a Prep Hoops ranked top 50 talent with 4 1/2 stars next to his name, committed to Ole Miss over Syracuse, Xavier, Wisconsin, Florida, Marquette, and many others.  A big victory for Kermit Davis and his program.

LJ Cryer - Baylor (8).  When Cryer picked Baylor over LSU two weeks ago he kick started a Bears 2020 recruiting class that right now ranks as the best in the country.  Of course it's too early to crown Scott Drew's program the recruiting champs but they are off to a great start with a lead guard and a big (see below).

Isaiah Cottrell - West Virginia (9).  Bob Huggins loves toughness and in 6-foot-9 power forward Isaiah Cottrell he has a top 60 recruit that was tough enough to receive offers from Kansas, Arizona, Virginia, and a great list of others.

Dain Dainja - Baylor (10). Dainja is the second piece of the Baylor Bears recruiting class that sits on top at #1.  The 6-foot-7 Dainja has as skilled of hands and feet as any recruit in the nation, plus an explosive finishing ability at 260 pounds that has steamrolled many of the nation's best.

Dain Dainja

Jalen Terry - Michigan State (11).  Five-foot-10 lead guard Jalen Terry is the future PG for Coach Tom Izzo.  Izzo received Terry's committed four days before their Final Four loss to Texas Tech.

Jalen Cook -  LSU (12).  Jalen is a top 75 level basketball talent and a top 500 level ranked football player in the 2020 class.  Cook committed to his homestate school last week, another highly ranked PG that has found his future program.

Symir Torrence - Marquette (13).  Torrence has actually reclassified and is now at Marquette giving the program additional guard depth for next season.  Our last ranking had him as a top 75 talent in the 2020 class so we give him a final high school mention here.

Dominick Harris -  Gonzaga (14).  Harris is the next piece of the Mark Few recruiting plan of 2019 and 2020 that is reshaping the program with a load of talent. Harris is a 6-foot-4 combo guard ranked in the top 100 and he was actually the first piece of the reloading as he committed 18 months ago.

Johnny Davis -  Wisconsin (15). Davis is one of the hardest working, explosive players in the 2020 class.  The Badgers are in need of a talented class and they offered the brother of Johnny (Jordan Davis) to make sure they landed the top 100 La Crosse wing.  Johnny, Jordan, and Lorne Bowman give Greg Gard three of the four players they hope to sign this fall.

Adrian Baldwin

Adrian Baldwin - VCU (16). The next PG that has committed early is Adrian Baldwin.  Adrian is the 5th ranked player in the Maryland/Washington DC area and the 88th ranked player overall.  Baldwin had 15 high major offers but VCU was the spot he picked for his future.

Malachi Wideman - Florida State (17).  The 6-foot-4 Wideman is a top 100 ranked basketball player and a top 150 ranked football player.  He's a talented wing and a talented wideout.  The Noles picked up a big commitment from Malachi a month ago over rival Florida.

Ian Martinez - Utah (18). Martinez is a top 100 ranked 4-star recruit nationally and a top ten ranked player in the California 2020 class.  Ian had offers from Arizona and Arizona State when he selected the Utes a month ago.

Zeb Jackson - Michigan (19). Jackson is the final top 100 ranked recruit in the Prep Hoops national rankings that has already made a college decision.  Jackson - a 6-foot-2 guard from Ohio - committed to John Beilein last fall and remains committed to new Coach Juwan Howard.

Dwon Odom - Xavier (20).  The point guard theme continues with Dwon Odom, a Georgia leader that committed to Coach Travis Steele last summer.  Virginia and Florida were among the double figure high major programs that recognized Odom's talent early but Xavier earned the commitment.

Davonte Davis - Oklahoma State (21). The Cowboys received an early Christmas present last December when Davis, a 6-foot-4 point guard, committed to OSU.  Woodz Elite is a top ten 17u team in the nation and as the 3rd ranked senior in Arkansas, Davis has played a key role.

Woody Newton - Syracuse (22). Newton is a 6-foot-8, 190 pound forward that Jim Boeheim out-recruited Maryland, Georgetown, Arkansas, West Virginia, and a number of others for.

Joe Bamisile - Northwestern (23). Joe is the 5th ranked player in Virginia and a top 125 level player overall in the 2020 class.  Chris Collins picked up the Bamisile commitment in April earning one of the top talents of his Wildcat tenure.

Isiah Warfield - Liberty (24). Warfield is ranked 127th in the country and he committed to Liberty's staff, team, and academic program along with Drake Dobbs of Minnesota (a player that will be in the Prep Hoops top 500 this fall) giving Liberty an outstanding start to their class. Excellent future backcourt.

Donovan Williams - Nebraska (25). Fred Hoiberg has one of the top 2020 recruiting classes at the moment and he has Tim Miles to thank for it.  Donovan Williams and D'Andre Davis are both top 150 level players that have been committed to Lincoln since last fall.
