AZ Compass Prep
AZ Compass has put together one heck of a roster. They’re entire roster looks completely different than it did a month ago. They have been able to attract some of the best players to their squad. I am very eager to watching them play and hopeful that they will have their full squad with them. Some of their new additions include: Jabari Walker (6’8 F), Jhaylon Martinez (6’11 F), and Fallou Diagne (6’11 F). That is a ton of addition size to add to their already talented roster. These guys should pair nicely with Frankie Collins, Maxwell Lewis, and Devontes Cobbs.
Millennium
Definitely want to catch Millennium in action. They had a really good showing at Section 7 and I want to see if that success will carry over. They should be feeling very confident after playing some of the nations best high school teams. Millennium is stepping up and making their case as the best HS team in state, regardless of conference.
Desert Vista
DV has 2 really amazing prospects. Osasere Ighodaro is not new to the scene and everyone knows him now since he blew up this summer, racking up numerous offers. He is definitely worth the watch but I am also intrigued by John Soloman. This kid absolutely blew up last weekend at Section 7, earning about 4-5 offers in one day. I definitely need to check out their squad.
Cesar Chavez
Cesar Chavez is a must watch team for me. I think they could eventually really make a run at the 6A State Championship. I want to see how their team has progressed/improved since I’ve last seen them. Ty Ty Washington is always fun to watch as well due to his amazing scoring ability.
