Nationally Ranked 2021 Prospects

<p>Recently, the Prep Hoops team released an updated 2021 top 250. Alabama had 6 players recognized in the top 250. The 2021 class is loaded with talent and several players in the class have the potential to be very special. National recognition only fuels the fire for these prospects, and for those that are deserving of national recognition as well. </p> <p><strong>JD Davison (Calhoun)- </strong>Davison comes in at No. 92. It is very surprising that other services don't have this kid ranked. Davison has good size at 6'3 with super levels of athleticism. He can play either guard and defend multiple positions. Davison is an active defender and is one of the best perimeter rebounders. As Davison improves as an offensive player, he will only climb the charts.</p> <p><strong>Kaleb Brown (Lee Huntsville)- </strong>Brown is ranked 110th. The 6'5 solid bodied point guard has been very impressive through the spring. Brown already has multiple HM offers. This kid is an intriguing prospect given his size and ability with the ball in his hands. Whats noticeable with Brown, he does an excellent job at staying under control. Eventually, Brown may see more time as an off ball guard, but either way this kid can play.</p> <p><strong>Trinity Bell (Albertville)- </strong>The 6'7 power forward comes in at 146. Bell is a versatile defender and a very good rebounder. When you watch this kid play, Bell plays to his strengths. He rarely tries to do something he is not comfortable with. Bell moves extremely well on the court, is tough in the paint, and impacts the game defensively and on the glass. What more can you want in a big?</p> <p><strong>GaQuincy McKinstry (Pinson Valley)- </strong>The 208th ranked prospect is one of Alabama's most gifted athletes. Getting recruited to play at the next level is hard, but "Kool-Aid" is a prospect that could play multiple sports at the next level. This kid is 6'2 with speed and tons of athleticism. Is McKinstry the best basketball player? No, but he is one of the best athletes in the state, and a hard nosed competitor who can play/defend multiple positions.</p> <p><strong>Bryson Hall (Tuscaloosa Co.)- </strong>Hall enters the list at 224. This kid is a unique talent given his size at 6'6-6'7, and his ability to play both forward spots. Right now, Hall is more of a mismatch at the 4 spot vs playing on the perimeter. He has good vision and a mixture of moves to be very effective from the block. Hall has good ball skill at the 4, but he needs to improve his handle more to play full time on the perimeter.</p> <p><strong>Keshawn Murphy (Ramsay)- </strong>The 6'7 small forward is ranked 239th. Murphy is a very versatile player. He can defend multiple positions and can score inside/out. This kid is very underrated and looks super smooth out on the court. Murphy has received attention from MM and HM level schools and there is a reason why. With his size and versatility, Murphy has the potential to impact the game in multiple ways.</p>
