Capitol Hoops Summer League Night 2 Standouts

<p>I was back in the gym Wednesday night for <strong>Capitol Hoops Summer League at DeMatha</strong> and it was another full slate of games with two games constantly going on at once. Below I take a look at five prospects who stood out in my eyes on the court I was evaluating.</p> <p><strong>2022 5'10 Cam'ron Brown | Georgetown Day</strong></p> <p>Summer league is always a good time to see players with new teams and teams with no additions and that is the case with Brown. Brown will be a sophomore this upcoming season for Georgetown Day and looks to be a pivotal part of his team's success. Brown had 13 points on 5/7 from the field on Wednesday against Eleanor Roosevelt.</p> <p><strong>2022 6’0 Car'ron Brown | Georgetown Day</strong></p> <p>The other Brown to watch out for is Car'ron Brown who is twins with Cam'Ron. Car'ron is a tad bit taller than his twin brother and showed off his abilities to get to his spots and get to the free throw line. Brown finished with 11 points in a close lost to Eleanor Roosevelt.</p> <p><strong>2022 6’9 Jerrell Roberson | DeMatha</strong></p> <p>Roberson is another promising young piece that showed off his skillset on Wednesday night for a DeMatha win against Whitman where he finished with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. The rising sophomore already has good size standing at 6'9 and looks to make an impact coming off the bench for the Stags in the upcoming high school season. </p> <p><strong>2020 6’8 Dowar Jioklow | Flint Hill</strong></p> <p>The lengthy lefty continues to have a big spring after he had another big time performance for the second day in a row during summer league as he finished with 16 points, 6 blocks and 8 rebounds for Flint Hill. Jioklow has been treating summer league no joke and is making a strong impact early on. </p> <p><strong>2020 6’1 Ronald Polite | Oxon Hill</strong></p> <p>The 21st ranked prospect in our Maryland/DC rankings had a huge performance in a win for Oxon Hill as he finished with 31 points. The rest of his team combined for 25 points so that alone tells you the type of day Polite was having. He was doing a little more than just scoring the ball thought as he dished out 4 assists, hauled in 4 rebounds and came away with two steals.</p>
