Team Preview: FOH Seattle 15u

<p>In our third and final team preview for Friends of Hoop, we will examine the 15u team. FOH's program as a whole has been very solid throughout the Spring and the 15u team is looking forward to showing more improvement by the time July rolls around. </p> <p><strong>Program Background:</strong><br /> FOH Seattle has been in the Pacific Northwest AAU circuit since 1997 and has produced some of the top talent from the area onto the collegiate ranks and a few were lucky enough to play in the NBA. A former shoe-circuit team, FOH Seattle for the last handful of years is a non-shoe circuit team and continues to produce high quality teams and players due to the talent in our area.  </p> <p>Notable Alumni; Zach LaVine, Joe Harris, Isaiah Thomas, Spencer Hawes, Martell Webster, Jon Brockman, Corey Kispert, Cole Bajema <a href="https://www.fohseattle.com/alumni/" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.fohseattle.com/alumni/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1557984437964000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGIo_V9bg4Cte60no75tEBL7e0aUA">https://www.fohseattle.com/alumni/</a></p> <p>Jon Humphrie and Antonio Foster will be coaching this year's 15u team.</p> <p><strong>Roster:  FOH Seattle 15u</strong></p> <p>2022 6’8 F <strong>Cooper Church</strong> (Tahoma HS) – Great outside shooter and is an athlete. Is finding a balance with being pick and pop off ball screens and attack off the bounce from the perimeter. Versatile defender and good rebounder as well.</p> <p>2022 6’1 G <strong>Cooper Brown</strong> (Eastlake HS) – An elite scorer on all three levels. He can get hot in a hurry and he has a great IQ and ball handling skills. Logged a lot of varsity minutes in his freshman year, and is a deadly shooter if left open.</p> <p>2022 6’0 G <strong>Mason Carr</strong> (Liberty HS) – A big physical guard that can get to the rim and play bully ball. Has a knock for the ball often getting loose balls and rebounds. He is a great playmaker and very good in the pick and roll. Great defender of any position.</p> <p>2022 6’6 F <strong>Brandon Lankford</strong> (Skyline HS) – Brandon is a lanky wing with athleticism. He can knock down the perimeter shot and will be able to switch on small guards and use his length to contest.</p> <p>2022 6’1 G <strong>Evan Strong</strong> (Pullman HS) – Evan is an athletic guard . At his size , he is strong and can turn over opposing guards with his quickness and discipline. He is also a good passer and can finish at the rim. Improving his shooting this summer will improve his overall game.</p> <p>2022 6’2 G<strong> Luke White</strong> (Redmond HS) – Luke is an athletic slashing wing. He can get to the rim and finish with contact and can hit the midrange shot. Has a very high motor. Can defend, and often gets in the passing lanes with his long arms.</p> <p>2022 6’1 G <strong>Jaxon Nap</strong> (Hazen HS) – Jaxon can score the ball and is a very good knock down spot shooter. He can also create his shot off the bounce. He is very crafty when finishing at the rim.</p> <p>2022 6’1 G <strong>Ryan Clemens</strong> (Eastside Catholic HS) – A bigger guard that can get to the rim and knock down the pull up jump shot. He is versatile on the defensive end being able to guard smaller guards and bigger wings. Great timing on his rebounds.</p> <p>2022 6’6 F <strong>Andy He</strong> (Kings HS) – Andy is a bruising big man. He is at his best when setting hard screens and rolling to the rim. He also is a paint filler, often clogging the lane with his wide body. Good rebounder and improving on his finishing around the rim.</p> <p><strong>Coach's outlook:</strong></p> <p>Very excited to have this group playing together. We will be fun to watch as we will look to get up and down. We have great balance offensively with a lot of unselfish weapons and being able to stretch the floor. Defensively we will be very disciplined and tough.</p> <p><strong>Summer Schedule:</strong></p> <p>May 25-27 = Hoop Memorial Classic (Salem, OR)</p> <p>July 6-7 = Battle in Seattle (Seattle/Bellevue, WA)</p>
