Arch Elite Showcase: Class of 2020 Wings

<p>Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top Missouri Class of 2020 wings from last weekend's Arch Elite Showcase in Affton, MO:</p> <p>David Roberts 6'1" SW IL Jets: A fierce wing player from Hazelwood Central who put in work on both ends of the floor with equal zeal. He has a strong body and he likes to slash to the basket and score through contact at the rim. He also displayed a much improved stroke from 3-point range. On defense, he was not afraid to pick up his man in the backcourt and harass him from one end of the court to the other.</p> <p>Nate Garrett 6'5" SW IL Jets: The talented wing from Hazelwood Central has continued to develop and has emerged as a Division I prospect with his size and overall skill set. Last year, he was an excellent defender with good length and he could slash to the basket on offense. He has now developed into a three-level scorer who can handle the ball and knock down 3-pointers. He is very poised and he plays under control at all times.</p> <p>Hunter Perry 6'3" Missouri Basketball Club: A slashing wing player from Clayton who helped his team to the semifinals of the 17U tournament. When he gets the ball on the wing, he is going downhill and he doesn't care who knows it. He attacks the basket relentlessly and he gets the results. He also uses his size and craftiness well around the basket as he can get buckets in the low post.</p> <p>Kendrick Brown 6'2" Semo Bulls: The talented wing player from Poplar Bluff was a very capable bucket-getter from many spots on the floor. He has a quick first step to get by defenders and he can pull up and knock down jumpers. He also displayed 3-point range. He plays the game with a lot of confidence.</p> <p>Samuel Bledsoe 6'2" Semo Bulls: The wing player from Charleston was one of the top perimeter shooters I watched during the action that I watched. He has deep range and a pretty quick release to go along with it. He moves well without the basket and runs hard in transition to get to his spot to launch open jumpers.</p>
