<p><em>ARLINGTON, VA</em> -- The Bishop McNamara Mustangs picked up win #20 of the season and completed a regular season sweep of O'Connell after defeating the Knights by a final score of 58-55. Here we recap this contest by taking a closer look at the five best.</p> <h2>BEST PLAYER | MEKHI LONG | MCNAMARA '19</h2> <p>It didn't take long to realize that <strong>Mekhi Long</strong> was intent on taking over this game. Halfway through the first quarter, Long was responsible for scoring all 13 of his team's points as they held an early lead and didn't look back. The Rhode Island commit went off for 30 points and 13 rebounds in the win. Long hit three of seven attempts from long range, and his jump shot looks smooth as ever. </p> <h2>BEST SHOOTER | JAHMAL BANKS | O'CONNELL '20</h2> <p>Talk about a smooth jump shot, <strong>Jahmal Banks</strong> has put in a lot of work on his and the results were evident yesterday. The 6-foot-5 wing connected on a game-high four triples in this one, and is quickly becoming a confident spot up shooter. </p> <h2>BEST PASSER | JOHNATHAN MCGRIFF | MCNAMARA '19</h2> <p><strong>Johnathan McGriff</strong> once again showcased his elite ability to get his teammates involved. The quick and crafty floor general can be ball dominant at times, but more often than not its because he knows that he will be able to make something happen. McGriff handed out a game-high 6 dimes. </p> <h2>BEST OBSCURE PERFORMANCE | KENNY WOMACK | MCNAMARA '20</h2> <p><strong>Kenny Womack</strong> quietly had a tremendous all around game. The junior lead guard recorded 16 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and made two threes, but his impact goes beyond the numbers. Womack didn't settle and made a concerted effort to apply pressure on the rim. He was rewarded with 8 free throw attempts as a result.</p> <h2>BEST UNDERCLASSMEN | BRAYON FREEMAN | O'CONNELL '21</h2> <p>Talk about applying pressure on the rim, arguably no guard in the WCAC is better at that than<strong> Brayon Freeman</strong>. The sophomore, who hit a game-high eight free throws, is very adept at getting into the paint and seeking contact. Freeman scored 14 points as his breakout season continues.</p>
