The 46th annual City of Palms Classic tipped off Monday with five games at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers. The tournament runs through Saturday.

Monday's final scores were:

Fort Myers 72, Canterbury School 60

Mountain Brook (Ala.) 66, Woodrow Wilson (D.C.) 51

The Villages Charter 81, Lehigh Senior 61

Olive Branch (Miss.) 79, Charlotte 63

Oak Hill Academy 92, Riverview 73

Here is Part 2 of Monday's top performers at the 2018 City of Palms Classic:

ICYMI: Part 1 written by Jake Perper

DJ Jeffries (Olive Branch, Miss.)

The University of Memphis recruit (pictured) scored 38 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as the Conquistadors overwhelmed Charlotte. The 6-foot-7, 215-pound forward can do it all. He handles the ball like a guard, cleans the glass and defends. Jeffries made 13 of 20 from the field, including 5 of 9 from 3-point land, and hit 7 of 9 free throws. "It's my first time playing in this tournament and it's a big tournament," Jeffries said. "All the big-time people come here." Jeffries is ranked the No. 28 senior in the nation by PrepHoops.

Makhi Mitchell (Woodrow Wilson, D.C.)

The 6-10, 240-pound senior, who transferred to Woodrow Wilson from Montverde Academy in Florida, posted a double-double (17 points & 10 rebounds in 28 minutes) in the Tigers' loss to Mountain Brook. Mitchell connected on 6-of-10 shots from the field, including two 3-pointers. The Maryland signee is ranked the No. 60 senior in the country by PrepHoops. Woodrow Wilson was forced to play short-handed Monday. The Tigers had to leave seven players back home to play in a league game, according to coach Angelo Hernandez.

Brandon Farmer (The Villages Charter)

Farmer is a newcomer to The Villages Charter from Central Florida Christian Academy. He connected on 8-of-10 field goal attempts on the way to 20 points in the victory over Lehigh. Farmer also had 4 rebounds and is a defensive presence on the glass. He combines well with 6-8 big Peyton Williams. "He's still learning what we're all about and what our system is all about," Villages coach Colt McDowell said. "But he was absolutely awesome tonight. He rebounded the ball real well; got a bunch of stick-backs."

Jayven Millien (Riverview)

The 6-6 sophomore led Riverview with 19 points in 18 minutes. vs. Oak Hill Academy. He shot 7 of 12, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range. "I think everybody played hard, especially the bench," Millien said. "Everybody played together.

"Last year it was a learning process, coming off the bench. Having older guys teach me how to play the game. My sophomore year I am more aggressive."

Quinton Desamours (Lehigh Senior)

Desamours, a 6-3 junior, poured in 20 points in 27 minutes in the loss to The Villages. He shot 7 of 15 from the field and canned three from distance. Desamours also contributed 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. 2019 Delshawn Green -- a Baron Davis lookalike -- added 14 points for the Lightning.
