The JaCobi Tour
The Cleveland guard JaCobi Wood reciprocates college interest by campus visiting at a startling rate.
“He will be “visiting Iowa State January fifth versus Kansas,” shared Cleveland Assistant Coach Reggie Tucker. “Dayton and Penn State are recruiting him tough now. The kid is leading our veteran ball club and hungry to keep improving.”

Many of the inquiring college coaches get to quickly see their efforts rewarded by JaCobi and his family showing their friendly faces in return.
In June, Butler and Indiana State ventured into the JaCobi Wood sweepstakes by hosting the physically imposing guard.
Tennessee State hosted JaCobi Wood Tuesday.
Under new Tennessee State Head Coach Penny Collins the Tigers are more attracted to Volunteer State prospects than before.
They also like Marcus Fitzgerald Jr. (Brentwood Academy) quite a bit. He visited the campus too.
The previous Tennessee State staff elected to scour the junior college ranks more ardently. Unlike former TSU Head Coach Dana Ford, Coach Collins grew into a coach in Tennessee.
Mid-October JaCobi and Cleveland Assistant Basketball Coach Reggie Tucker visited Lafayette, a Division One program in Easton, Pennsylvania.
Rice came by Cleveland High to evaluate two days later.
High-academic schools of Rice-ilk are becoming a theme. Early October Princeton reached out. Stanford has been in contact in the past year.
Chattanooga offered October 20th. They were one of the first schools to watch and believe in JaCobi Wood.
Missouri, Iowa, and Penn State imitated contact.
Wofford hosted JaCobi near the end of October and Belmont evaluated Cleveland High’s point guard in person earlier this season.
