The list of commitments in Oklahoma is growing by the day. We thought we would update everyone on who has committed where at this point in their recruiting journey. The top seven recruits in Oklahoma are off the board already. Many more athletes are closing in on decisions in the near future!

Kalib Boone 2019 Tulsa Memorial Post (Oklahoma State)

Kalib Boone the top recruit in the state got his decision out of the way very early. Oklahoma State fans should feel very secure in landing Boone. He will be able to provide shot blocking and rebounding early in his career. Over time I think Mike Boynton will develop him into a nice go-to big in the paint.

Keylan Boone 2019 Tulsa Memorial Wing (Oklahoma State)

Keylan Boone the twin brother of Kalib has a high ceiling if he can ever reach it he will blow people away with his skill set on the Wing. Just as I stated with his brother earlier Oklahoma State fans have nothing to worry about Keylan will be a Cowboy. He is long and lanky with great athleticism making him a potential elite Wing defender. Fans will be surprised with his offensive talents as he can score at all three levels. I am excited to see what Mike Boynton and his staff do with Keylan.

Jacob Germany 2019 Kingston Post (UTSA)

After flirting early with Oklahoma and late in the recruiting process with Boise State and Wake Forest, Germany landed at UTSA. It is a great fit for him to succeed early and have an opportunity to be an all-conference guy in the latter half of his career. Germany is a very skilled big man still learning the game with possibly the best potential in the class. He has not turned the corner yet, but I stand by that he will in college, which will leave a lot of people wondering how UTSA was able to snag him away. UTSA Assistant, Scott Thompson has done a great job landing under the radar Oklahoma prospects the last three years.

Antonio Gordon 2019 Lawton Ike Forward (Kansas State)

The game of Gordon skyrocketed to another level over the past year and a half. I have seen him go from a prospect that was very raw with low confidence to a budding star. Kansas State was a great option for Gordon because of the heavy senior class they graduate this year. It will leave openings for Gordon to make his mark early at the Forward spot. What separates Gordon is his shooting, heart, and hustle. No player will ever outwork Gordon. Expect him to fight for playing time earlier than most would think because of his work ethic.

Micah Thomas 2019 PC North Point Guard (SIUE)

After a nerve-racking recruiting process, Thomas landed at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He should have the opportunity to play early at the Point. Thomas will give them steady reliable play at the Point Guard spot. If he had waited until the spring Thomas may have ended up at a higher level, but it says a lot to the staff at SIUE convincing him to commit and sign early.

Drew Tennial 2019 Edmond Memorial Wing (Texas State)

For the second straight year, Texas State has landed a talented player out of the state of Oklahoma. Tennial is known for his strength on the Wing making him a force driving the ball and on defense. Texas State will do a great job putting Tennial in spots for success. I fully expect for Tennial to play a big role in Texas State climbing their conference ladder over the next few years.

Shemar Smith 2019 Norman North Forward (Central Oklahoma)

In a surprise to many Central Oklahoma landed one of the most athletic players in this year's class. At 6'6 Smith is a matchup problem for squads because of his versatility on both ends. Smith is going to give colleges nightmares in the MIAA. Most had Smith pegged as a JUCO prospect for two years and then to the NCAA Division I level. JUCO's will continue to call and do everything they can to gauge Smith's interest, but at this time he appears to be solid with Central Oklahoma. Tom Hankins and his crew have landed one of the best recruits at the NCAA Division II level in the country convincing Smith to be a Bronchos.

Kellen Hines 2019 Fort Cobb-Broxton Point Guard (SWOSU)

Hines got his commitment over with very early in the process. SWOSU allows him to stay close to home while playing in a beautiful facility for a great coach. Hines will provide SWOSU with ball handling, shooting, and toughness. Most of all, Hines is a winner. He is going for his fourth state championship this winter at Fort Cobb-Broxton.

Josh Crutchfield 2019 Norman North Forward (NOC Enid)

After a successful summer, Crutchfield landed at NOC Enid. It is a nice pickup for NOC Enid, especially considering there were several schools interested in his talents. He will provide NOC Enid with three-point shooting stretching the floor against defenses. I am very intrigued to see what Crutchfield turns into over his two years at NOC Enid.

Julian Cockrell 2019 Tulsa Memorial Post (NOC Enid)

Over his entire career, Cockrell has played behind the best post player in the 2019 Class, Kalib Boone (Oklahoma State). Julian's older brother, AJ matured early dominating throughout high school. I believe Julian could end up being one of those late bloomers who turns out to be a good player at NOC Enid and moves on to a four-year school. the new head coach at NOC Enid, Aaron Butcher is in on kids early in-state looking to build things with Oklahoma prospects.

Andrew Keathley 2019 Coweta Post (NWOSU)

After the stellar season, NWOSU had last year on the court they are turning it up on the recruiting trail in 2019. Keathley was a huge get for them early. In the paint, he provides rebounding, defense, and the ability to score with his back to the basket. He is going to be one of the players we look back on this class and say, NWOSU got a steal.
