Dayten Holman 2020 Oklahoma Run PWP Point Guard
Holman turned into a national prospect this summer with Oklahoma Run PWP. The 6'6 talented Point Guard is so versatile giving his team huge positives on both sides of the ball. Offensively, Holman has a steady handle with some of the best vision you will see from a high school prospect. The crisp passes from Holman make teammates around him truly better. Holman scores the ball best attacking the basket and used to be known as a non-factor shooting the basketball from deep. He has changed that narrative working hard to make his three-point shot respectable. Holman is long on defense helping him to stick with opponents and cause chaos in the passing lanes. It was announced earlier this week Holman is headed to Arizona to play his high school basketball at Bella Vista Prep. Without question, Holman is a High Major NCAA Division I recruit.
Bijan Cortes 2021 Team Griffin Point Guard
Cortes proved he can play at a high level consistently this summer. He showed a strong grasp on running the show from the Point Guard spot. The great pace he plays with at the Point allows him to find his way to the basket with ease. Cortes has a smooth factor to his game. He shot the ball well from three-point range consistently opening up other avenues for him to score. Cortes plays with a high basketball IQ. After this summer Cortes has moved up from a prospect projected to the Low Major NCAA Division I level to Mid Major plus projection.
Christian Cook 2020 Team Buddy Buckets Wing
Cook is a sharpshooter from the outside with deep range. Throughout his high school career Cook has been known as an incredible shooter. This summer Cook worked on all of the areas of his game outside of shooting. He became a multi-tool offensive talent using a new found drive to the hoop and adding a mid-range pull up. The ability to score at all three levels makes Cook intriguing. He is a prospect with the opportunity to go from a high Division II prospect to Low Major NCAA Division I depending on how he plays over the next year. One thing is for sure, Cook improved his stock this summer.
Connor Slater 2019 Game Changer Hoops Wing
Slater had a monster summer with Game Changer Hoops on the Wing. What made his summer quite remarkable was the fact he started as a role player starring in his role. As the summer continued Slater elevated his game showing off all of the many different areas he thrives in on the court. Slater scores the ball well using his jumper. What many did not know was how athletic Slater is with the ball in his hands. He had several monster dunks in July showing off his hops. Slater also is a very smart defender waiting for the perfect moment to jump the passing lanes for an easy steal and bucket. After his performance on the court, this summer Slater has turned into one of the top NCAA Division II prospects in the Oklahoma 2019 Class.
Jacob Thionnet 2019 Team Unity Wing (Pictured)
Thionnet entered the summer as an unknown talent by most of the state. By the end of the summer, Thionnet turned into a household name with NCAA Division II programs in hot pursuit of his talents. Thionnett is long, lanky with upside at 6'5. He can defend positions 1-5 on switches. In college, Thionnet could be a player on the Wing offensively and guard a four on the defensive end. The versatility of Thionnet helps him to be one of the top NCAA Division II recruits in Oklahoma. He can also score the ball well taking it to the rim with confidence. Opponents have to respect his ability to shoot the three-point shot as well. Thionnet is going to make major waves this winter with Edmond Memorial.
