Dixon is a rangy and athletic wing/guard that has elite bounce, keeps constant pressure on the defense looking to attack the basket, and is an elite on-ball defender. Dixon had a phenomenal showing at the Invite Showcase, where he would do well in the morning portion of the event, highlighted by him winning the 1 v 1 part of the Showcase before a standout showing in the 5 v 5s. Dixon has solid handles, keeps the dribble alive to survey the defense, had a great burst of speed off the bounce to get by his initial defender, uses his length and body control to find the angle when attacking off the wing, slices through the defense to get paint touches, and has great touch on shots around the basket, where he uses the scoop, up-and-under, and spin-move into the lay-up to evade height in the paint, and showed consistency with the pull-up or fading mid-range jumper off the bounce. Dixon is an elite on-ball defender, has active hands and timing to deflect passes or jump passing lanes, and is a solid shot blocker on the perimeter, as well as in the paint from the weakside.
