DJ Nelson gave his team a significant advantage on the glass at the North CP3 National Middle School Combine, consistently making his presence felt with his activity and ability to secure rebounds on both ends. Nelson had a strong nose for the basketball, regularly putting himself in position to collect missed shots and help his team win the possession battle. His offensive rebounding created valuable second-chance opportunities, while his work on the defensive boards helped prevent opponents from extending possessions. Nelson’s commitment to pursuing rebounds was a major part of his effectiveness, as he remained engaged around the basket and competed for every available opportunity.
