Zaire Hammond displayed an advanced feel for the game at the North CP3 National Middle School Combine, operating as a skilled facilitator who consistently put his teammates in positions to succeed. Hammond had a natural understanding of how to run an offense, recognizing opportunities to distribute the basketball and create quality looks for those around him. His court vision and decision-making allowed him to keep the offense moving efficiently while making sure his teammates remained involved. Rather than forcing his own offense, Hammond prioritized making the right read and finding the best available option. His unselfish approach, passing instincts and ability to elevate the play of others were particularly impressive, giving his team a reliable presence in the backcourt.
