Leon Johnson, Jr. was a physical presence in the paint at the East CP3 National Middle School Combine, using his size and strength to establish himself as a highly effective rebounder on both ends. Johnson did an excellent job of holding his position around the basket, competing for missed shots and using his physical advantages to secure rebounds against opposing players. His ability to control the defensive glass helped eliminate second-chance opportunities, while his work on the offensive boards gave his team additional possessions. Johnson’s effectiveness around the rim went beyond his physical tools, as his consistent effort and willingness to battle inside played a significant role in his overall productivity.
