Underwood is one of two new Boiling Springs players whom I will now want to watch closely this year. With all of their football players away from the team, he has been the guy running the offense for HWY 9 during fall league. His passing feel is the first thing that stood out to me, but as the night went on, he started to feel it from distance and checked in with a complete offensive performance. Lawson’s 18 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals were a product of some high-level play from the team, but he was the guy bringing the ball up and getting them into their actions on most possessions, and I think he’s earned the opportunity to do that once they return to full strength in the winter.
