Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
For a sophomore, Smith has an advanced skillset and athletic profile. The 6-foot-1 CG got up for dunks in transition but also used his length and athleticism to take contact and finish at the cup. He made some threes from the perimeter—and showcased a nice-looking stroke—but he also understands when and how to drive closeouts and get to two feet in the paint. Smith needs to improve his effort on the defensive end, but he has a lot of time to do so.
