His explosive first step created paint touches, while his pull-up game and three-level scoring kept defenders from simply backing off. He showed the handle and patience to work in the half-court, then used vision and no-look passing to create for others. Despite not being a tall guard, his strong build helped him compete against bigger matchups. Steals, rebounding, and a high motor gave his performance value beyond the scoring column. He can run the show and put pressure on a defense; continuing to balance his own offense with timely distribution will be important as his responsibilities grow for his team this year.

Cornellious is a scoring PG who put pressure on the defense with both range and creation. He made threes, scored with pull-up jumpers, and used a spin move to finish a layup. His perimeter shooting was a streaky, and is an area for growth.
