Brooks played with the [program_tooltip program_id='2886609' first='Wichita' last='Padres'] and had weekends where he was averaging nearly 20 points a game this summer (helped in late July by a 35 point outburst). A big item that Luka brings is his speed with the ball and that is in transition, turning corners off screens, and blitzing to a pull-up or a rim finish ahead of the help defenders. He was the leader, the playmaker, the energy, and the guy that took on the challenge. A guy that could get you 20 points and eight assists, but then the next game may not have popping numbers, but he led in the same way getting the win. The next week he then gets you going with 16 points, five assists and five steals followed by another 20 points.
