New to the Rankings: Five 2028 Prospects Making Their Debut

Our <a href="https://prephoops.com/georgia/rankings/2028-rankings/" data-type="link" data-id="https://prephoops.com/georgia/rankings/2028-rankings/">Updated Georgia 2028 Rankings</a> feature 31 new names following a busy spring and summer of high school and grassroots basketball. These prospects earned their way onto the board with impressive performances and continued development over the past several months. Here is a closer look at five juniors making their debut in our updated rankings.    Yak is an intriguing left handed combo forward with a versatile offensive skill set. He is comfortable playing away from the basket and facing up defenders, with shooting range that extends beyond the arc. Yak is also a productive rebounder who can pursue the ball outside of his area. As he continues to add physical strength, expect him to become an increasingly productive and impactful prospect on both ends of the floor.     Walls is a versatile frontcourt prospect with an intriguing inside/outside offensive skill set. He has good touch around the basket and can stretch the floor with shooting range beyond the arc, giving him the ability to score from multiple areas of the floor. Walls also moves well for his size and brings good mobility to the frontcourt. His combination of size, skill and versatility earned him a spot inside the Top 60 of our updated rankings.     Jamieson is a strong, hard playing big man who brings a physical presence to the frontcourt. He has good footwork and touch around the basket and is especially effective scoring over his left shoulder on the block. Jamieson can also step away from the rim and knock down shots from 15–17 feet, adding another dimension to his offensive game. He rebounds effectively in his area and uses his size and strength to alter shots in the paint.     Fleming impressed with Austin Rivers Southeast Elite out of Florida during July and brings impressive versatility to the perimeter. He is capable of playing all three perimeter positions and has good quickness and above average athleticism. Fleming is an excellent passer who sees the floor well and consistently creates opportunities for teammates, while also being a capable perimeter shot-maker when given open looks. He competes on the defensive end, where his athleticism and versatility allow him to make an impact.     Dixon helped lead Devin Butts Elite to a HoopSeen 16U Association championship in July and established himself as a versatile, athletic wing. He has high level positional size and length and is especially effective creating offense in the midrange. Dixon is also highly effective in transition, where he uses his athleticism and physical tools to finish around the basket. He brings additional value on the defensive end, where his size, length and athleticism give him the versatility to guard multiple positions.
