Senior guard Brandon Davis Brandon Davis 5'10" | CG G.W. Carver | 2027 AL will be one of the primary players responsible for driving Carver’s success. At 5’10, he brings defensive ability, perimeter shooting and a strong basketball IQ to the backcourt. His impact begins defensively. Carver wants to pressure the ball, communicate and compete on every possession, and Brandon possesses the tools to help establish that standard. He can disrupt opposing ball handlers, make it difficult for teams to comfortably initiate their offense and turn defensive pressure into transition opportunities. Offensively, he provides floor-spacing value with his shooting ability. His presence on the perimeter should force defenders to stay attached, creating additional driving lanes for Carver’s slashers. His basketball IQ will also be important when determining when to push the pace and when to settle the team into its half-court offense. As a returning senior starter, Brandon must provide more than individual production. He will be expected to lead through his preparation, communication and decision-making. Carver’s younger players will look to him for direction, especially during close games and difficult stretches of the season.
