About Austin

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength as a player is my work ethic and determination. I don’t give up on plays, and I’m always willing to do the little things that help my team. In games, that shows up through my effort on defense, rebounding, communicating with my teammates, and staying aggressive even when things aren’t going my way.

What are you working to improve right now?

Right now, I’m working on becoming more confident and consistent with my shooting, especially under pressure. I’m also focusing on making quicker decisions with the ball and continuing to improve my overall basketball IQ.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a college program that feels like a family, pushes me to become a better player and person, and gives me the opportunity to compete and contribute. I want coaches who believe in me, teammates who support each other, and a program that values hard work, discipline, and academics.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of basketball, I’m a hardworking, respectful, and dependable person. I care a lot about my family, my education, and the people around me. I’m coachable, willing to learn, and I always try to give my best in everything I do, not just on the court.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I’m still exploring my options, but I’m interested in a career where I can work with and help people. I want to choose a field that I’m passionate about while also giving me the opportunity to make a positive impact. I’m excited to learn more about different programs in college and find the right fit for my future.
