BADGE: DEADEYE 👁️

Howard’s shooting fit isn’t just about whether the shot is open. What stood out is his comfort getting shots off when the defense is actively trying to close the window.

That’s why Deadeye fits. The badge represents being able to knock down shots through defensive pressure and closeouts, which is important for a guard who isn’t always going to receive perfectly clean looks.

Howard’s ability to move into shots and make quick decisions gives him opportunities to punish defenders who are late getting there.

Boogs Take:
For me, the important part is the confidence. Good shooters will eventually get defended differently. Being comfortable shooting when the defense actually gets there is what can separate a shooter from someone who simply has a nice jumper.
