Mason is a right-handed shooting guard whose three-ball gives him immediate value as a floor spacer. He can shoot the rock from the perimeter and does not need every possession to begin in his hands to influence the offense. His presence beyond the arc requires defensive attention, creating more room for teammates to attack and helping him fit naturally beside a primary creator. The development focus is turning his shooting into a dependable, repeatable weapon. He should continue refining his foot preparation, balance, and readiness so he can get into his release without unnecessary movement. Adding a controlled one- or two-dribble attack against hard closeouts will allow him to punish defenders who run him off the line. The right-handed jumper is the skill that currently defines his offensive role.
