There's talent everywhere, from small schools to big schools and from big cities to small towns. This list is simply an opportunity to highlight some of the small school players to watch this upcoming season across each region of the state.

For Region 4, schools eligible to have a player included on the “small school” list are members of the All “A” Member schools for the 2026-27 season. He shot 53.2% from the field and 40.7% from 3-point range, making 44 3-pointers, while also converting 86.5% of his free throws and averaging 5.2 rebounds. Craft had perhaps one of the best individual games in the state last season, drilling eight 3-pointers, one shy of the school record, and pouring in a career-high 41 points. It was just one game, but it was a perfect example of what Craft is capable of.

As a sophomore, [player_tooltip player_id='2451394' first='Chase' last='Harmon'] averaged 5.2 points per game and led the team in 3-point percentage. With the top four scorers from last season now graduated, Harmon figures to take on a larger role this year. He fits the point guard position well, with his ball-handling, ability to control the tempo and shooting all standing out. Harmon can create his own shot or use his court vision to create opportunities for his teammates. He has a knack for making things happen on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='3732216' first='Reece' last='Bartley'] averaged 12.5 points and 3.7 rebounds last season. The lefty can also do damage from behind the arc in catch-and-shoot situations. He's a solid football player, too.

[player_tooltip player_id='3732231' first='Maddox' last='Wilson'] is Foundation Christian's leading returning scorer at 12.4 points per game. He also led the team in field goal percentage, shooting an efficient 59.3%, while averaging 3.6 rebounds. Wilson scored 20 or more points in five games, including a season-high 26 against Fort Campbell in the final game of the season. With the team's leading scorer and another top-three scorer graduating, Wilson could be in line for an increased workload this season. His efficiency and ability to consistently find the basket should make him a key piece for the Falcons.

[player_tooltip player_id='3732250' first='Connor' last='Holder'] led the Rebels in scoring last season, averaging 13.4 points per game. He was a major threat from long range, knocking down 96 3-pointers while shooting 35.8% from downtown. His 3.1 3-pointers per game ranked among the top 25 in the state, as did his total of 96 makes. Holder is versatile as a shooter, capable of pulling up off the dribble or knocking down shots in catch-and-shoot situations. He's got a smooth stroke and does a good job keeping his body and arms in position.

[player_tooltip player_id='3732251' first='John' last='Ross Cardwell'] averaged 13.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game last season. He can create offense with his defense, particularly in transition. Cardwell has a knack for getting his hands into passing lanes and wastes little time turning a steal or deflection into a trip to the basket. He also has the ball-handling ability to quickly push the ball up the floor and get to the basket. Defenders can't afford to leave him open from deep, as he can hurt teams from behind the arc in catch-and-shoot situations.

As a freshman a season ago, [player_tooltip player_id='3732254' first='Spencer' last='Pool'] already made quite an impact at the varsity level. He averaged 12.7 points per game, shot nearly 50% from the field and led the team in rebounding at 6.3 boards per game. Pool can make an impact defensively, too, with the ability to come up with multiple steals in a game. He's not just a scorer, though, as he can create opportunities for his teammates and rack up assists. Pool is a talented athlete and has excelled in multiple sports.

More:

Dre Vanterpool, Russellville

There's talent everywhere, from small schools to big schools and from big cities to small towns. This list is simply an opportunity to highlight some of the small school players to watch this upcoming season across each region of the state.
