Malaspina has an excellent feel and touch around the basket. He has great positional size that he uses to secure rebounds and look to push. Luca Malaspina displayed his high motor on the defensive end by staying back and pressuring the ball in the full court. I like that he keeps competing on every play. This tall and lengthy combo guard is ready to make an impact on both ends his junior year for Kiski Area!

Malaspina has a versatile game and consistently finds ways to make himself and his teammates better within the flow of the game. He does a nice job getting downhill and putting pressure on the defense off the bounce. Malaspina also shows good feel as a passer, making the extra pass to create better and more open scoring opportunities for his teammates. His unselfish approach and ability to impact the game in multiple areas add value to his overall game.
