About Tyce

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Physical two-way slasher. Guards 1–5. Scores in transition, isolation, and paint with mid-range pull-ups and up-and-unders. Streaky three. Sets screens, crashes boards, dives for loose balls. Gets steals and blocks. High motor, high impact. I can run point if a coach needs me to I can create open shots for my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I keep my composure no matter what. I love pressure — that's when I'm at my best. I lead on and off the court, and I hold my teammates accountable when it needs to be said. I love staying two hours after practice to get some shots up and reflect on what I can work on I

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I currently play for RYP Elite they are a growing aau program. I played for them my first time my freshman year they are really focused on building character, trust, respect, and accountability whether it comes on or off the court they have really developed my game to the next level.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In school, I stay focused and I have started to hold my teammates more accountable when they start to become lazy as student athletes. On the court, I will always work hard and keep my composure. In my community, I serve others. Leadership isn't something I turn on and off it's how I carry myself everywhere, I want to build a reputation at a young age.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that values development, accountability, leadership, and culture on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. I want coaches who push me, teammates who hold each other to high standards and will help make the team feel like family, and a place where I can grow as a player, a student, and a person. I also want a college with good culture, traditions, and values.
