Tuitt brings a lot to the table, and his production shows it. He’s a young prospect who can score, rebound, and create defensive opportunities. His ability to contribute in multiple areas makes him someone worth keeping an eye on.

The rebounding is a big part of the evaluation. Tuitt has shown that he can get involved on the glass while still carrying a scoring load. Add in his ability to come away with steals, and you have a player who can help his team create opportunities on both ends.

I like the fact that his impact isn’t tied to one part of the game. When a young player can score, compete for rebounds, and make plays defensively, there’s more than one way for him to help his team

Tuitt enters this discussion with production that stands out. At the Jr. 3SSB Nationals, he averaged 20.3 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in the 11U division, according to Scope Scouting. That combination of scoring output, work on the glass and defensive activity gives evaluators multiple areas to examine as he progresses. The next step is tracking how his production translates against increasingly challenging competition.

He was fun to watch. His game was definitely beyond his years. He seemed to consistently make the right play over and over again. He was patient with the ball and had no problem getting anywhere he wanted on the floor. He was a very efficient scorer at all levels. He had no problem being physical on both sides of the ball.

He continues to showcase impressive growth and development every time I evaluate him, and today’s C2C Preps Midwest Regional Camp was no exception. His versatility, high basketball IQ, and physicality allow him to consistently impact the game, particularly with his ability to attack the paint and finish through contact. What makes his progression even more impressive is his evolving offensive skill set, as he continues to become a more effective and consistent scorer from both mid-range and beyond the three-point line. His continued development is establishing him as one of the premier prospects in his class.

Tuitt plays with a very physical and powerful style, looking to use his strength and handle to create advantages. He does a good job getting downhill, finishing through contact, and using his physicality to make plays around the basket. He brings a competitive edge that shows up on both ends of the floor and continues to make an impact with his toughness and ability to play through contact.

His elite motor, toughness, and scoring were key to his team’s Sunday 12:20 p.m. semifinal victory. He set the tone early, scoring 13 of his 16 points in the first half, while also making a major impact inside with 11 rebounds and four blocks in the win.
