About Tegan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe the way I play as a forward/center than can play in the post but can come out and make 3’s. I can pass the ball well and facilitate the floor better than normal posts do.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a really big competitor, I never give up no matter the score and I preserver through anything thrown at me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve received honorable mention for my grades at Lyons High School and I got honor roll once.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed a sense of urgency to ge things done efficiently and quickly, I learned that communication goes a long way not just in sports but in life in general, and that leadership is needed everywhere.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I hyperextended my knee my freshman summer and the recovery to being 100% was long and painful but after 6 weeks I was back on the court and feeling better than I ever have.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a 4 year college, close to Kansas (surrounding states), has my intended major, and has a great basketball program.
