PICTURED: [player_tooltip player_id='2610387' first='Bryson' last='Morrissette']

It is no surprise that tall shooters are highly coveted by college recruiters and then eventually NBA franchises. Three remotely located players worth following are: Jericho Morton, Novak Morton, [player_tooltip player_id='2610387' first='Bryson' last='Morrissette'].

Novak and Jericho play for Milan High while Bryson competes for the Pigeon Forge Tigers. During the previous spring and upcoming July the twins played with PeakX 15u.

Twin Shooting Guards

"[Jericho Morton] plays the wing," said PeakX 17u Head Coach Jackson Chism. "It is him and Novak. They are the exact same height and they play the exact same way. They both play the wing. They both play the exact same way, and they almost have similar stats."

It is human nature when watching/seeing twins to look for differences, to try to distinguish them from one another in some way. With Jericho and Novak that becomes very hard regarding their basketball style.

"As far as AAU ball goes both of these kids are identical to what a Draymond Green would be," evaluates Coach Chism. "Extremely physical. Very defensive-minded. They hit their layups. Jericho has a really good case for a strong mid-range game. It is a pretty shot for him in the mid-range. He can raise up and hit that jumper pretty well."

Like Jericho, Novak stands 6-foot-3. They both played sparingly as freshmen with Milan's varsity team this past winter. "He played about the same minutes as his brother," said Coach Chism. "They really bring you a lot of the same characteristics in the game. A lot of coaches play them separately. When you sub you are really trying to get something out of a player. When they come on you are getting the same [kind of contribution]. The only difference is one has a little better jumper."

Before their freshman academic year has even ended the two are "both physically filled out for 15-year-old freshmen. They are as filled out as a high school junior.

An area for improvement would be ball-handling. Said Coach Chism, "If they get the ball-handling down they would be very dangerous in this area."

Pride of Pigeon

Standing 6-foot-4, [player_tooltip player_id='2610387' first='Bryson' last='Morrissette'] is enjoyed quite an AAU spring. "This kid is legitimate," said [program_tooltip program_id='3601227' first='AJam' last='Hoops'] AAU Director Avery Jameson. "He can shoot the piss out of it. He had 29 points in the first half with seven threes in the game."

Coach Jamison continued, "shared the ball the whole next game. Really good kid. Really good player...He plays like a true point guard. " Morrissette also had a game-winner.

Bryson was featured here: Prep Hoops Live: Friday Night Standouts From Batavia You can catch [program_tooltip program_id='3601227' first='AJam' last='Hoops'] this coming weekend at the Prep Hoops Southeast Finals.

Similar Senior

With a wonderful weekend P7's [player_tooltip player_id='2111892' first='Jordan' last='Myles'] firmly secured his place in the @PrepHoopsTN Top 10...where he has been for years now. Myles averaged 21.0 points per game along with about six rebounds per through UnderArmour Session I and UA Session II.

Myles is older and more advanced than the three players featured above. He is kind of where the twins want to be by their senior seasons.

You can read much more about [player_tooltip player_id='2111892' first='Jordan' last='Myles'] here.
