Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
Scott Rucker has turned Treynor into one of the most consistently strong programs in Class 2A, and if that trend is going to continue in 2026-27, Kellar will need to be a player who takes a significant step forward. The Cardinals lost their top three, and five of their top seven, scorers to graduation so there will be plenty of opportunity for players like Kellar, a 5-8 guard who can really shoot it to step up and become big contributors. He buried just under 42% of his 3-point attempts as a junior.

Read EvaluationTony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
Kellar figures to step into a much larger role as a senior for the Cardinals after averaging 3.6 points and 1.1 assists per game off the bench in his junior year. He’s a quick, intelligent guard who can play downhill and put pressure on opposing defenses and create quality looks for his teammates.
