Miles Bracken was a major breakout player, showcasing flashes of athleticism with a loud putback dunk that came out of nowhere, displayed elite scoring with his ability to create a shot from anywhere using a low wide base hesitations and explosive bounces to get his man leaning. His ability to shift gears without telegraphing his next move froze defenders in their tracks before exploding into open space or elevating for the jumpshot. Bracken’s confidence, deep shooting range, and unpredictable scoring package proved his capability of producing explosive offensive stretches.

Miles is a high-flying, tenacious guard that can block any opponent at the rim with his impressive verticality. He rarely bites on fakes and is a menace to deal with if you’re trying to get anything close to a layup or dunk. He’s communicative with his teammates on both ends and never misses an opportunity to lift up a teammate and encourage them, showing valuable leadership. He’s a force in the paint on the offensive end as well, showing strength when elevating for dunks and high percentage looks at the rim. He’s incredibly confident and never falters when it comes to making the right plays for his mission – outwork the opponent and win.

He brought a ton of energy during the early session and had multiple crowd-pleasing dunks that had the gym buzzing. Bracken uses his athleticism well to create advantages, finish through traffic, and make hustle plays, but what stood out was that he also showed the ability to knock down shots when defenders backed off. His activity level and ability to impact the game on both ends definitely helped his squad.

His consistent activity throughout the two games I watched him play on Sunday morning was great. He finished through contact at times and gave his team second efforts offensively. Bracken also looks to always crash the glass and was able to start transition opportunities by dribbling in the open floor before opposing defenses could set up.
