This point guard is truly the real deal! Drake Allen was so much fun to watch compete and play during the championship game. No one could stop him from scoring as he lead Make It Rain 15U in scoring with 19 points showing us a mixture of scoring both from the paint and from the free throw line. This gritty point guard plays with so much heart and fire on the court! He was able to convert a number of layups and midrange pullups to go along with a healthy number of free throws. Everything was working for this young star guard! Allen was one of my favorite players to watch and evaluate all weekend and I really believe there is a very bright future for this young man!

Drake saw the floor in a dozen games for Ryle last season. As a Sophomore, I expect him to be a heavy rotation player. Allen is the younger cousin of 2019 Mr Basketball, Dontaie Allen. While Drake is not as big as his cousin, the younger Allen shoots the ball at a high level just like Dontaie did. Look for Drake to be a potential breakout contributor for Ryle this season.
