Thornton (6-5) from Milwaukee Lutheran has had a great summer for the ABC Young Lions . Athletic and well developed, not just for an incoming freshman, Thornton has been impressive with his overall feel for the game. Mostly running point, Thornton uses good instincts in running his team’s offense where he lets the game come to him and looks to make the correct read at all times. When he calls his own number, Thornton exhibits a quick first step while playing under control and off of two feet around the rim.

6-5 Thornton stood out, not only for his size, but also his overall feel for the game. Big, physical “point forward” type who used good body control not only in dominating the glass but also in running his team’s offense where he did a nice job of keeping his head up and also looked to make the best play often resulting in easy layups for alert teammates.
