Flowers immediately stands out because of his size, length, and positional versatility. He moves well for his frame and shows comfort operating both inside and on the perimeter. He can attack closeouts, rebound outside of his area, and create matchup problems with his length around the basket. Flowers displays intriguing defensive upside due to his ability to guard multiple positions and contest shots. As his offensive consistency continues to improve, he has the tools to become one of the more impactful forwards in North Carolina’s 2028 class.

Flowers is such a versatile front-court piece with his game on display for Carolina Riptide 16u this past weekend. Flowers ability to use his size and strength to impose his will on opponents is only part of what makes him such an intriguing prospect. Flowers possesses the ability to operate in multiple areas on the floor with his touch, vision, and feel for the game. He also does an incredible job making multiple efforts defensively and on the glass as he’s a real pain to deal with in the offensive rebounding department. As he continues to refine his game, add depth to his low post game, and extend his touch to beyond the three point line with more consistency, Flowers should establish himself as one of the top mismatch forwards in NC’s 2028 class.

Flowers had a really strong sophomore season at Alexander Central under Coach Grant Hodges and will be with The Carolina Riptide this spring/summer as he looks to be on cement his status as a real prospect to watch in NC’s 2028 class. As a sophomore he averaged 10.6 Points, 9.2 Rebounds, 2.0 Assists and 0.6 Steals per game. Flowers ability to provide a scoring punch while owning the glass makes him a double double threat every time he steps onto the floor. Flowers can make plays for others as he’s comfortable operating in multiple areas on the floor along with having real touch around the basket and in the mid-range. The strong frame, feel, and skill for Flowers are very apparent, if he can continue to refine his game and become more explosive he will continue to gain real traction in the recruiting world over the next 6-12 months.
