Daniel was definitely a surprise during the Waves great weekend. Offensively, he displayed a well-rounded game. He scored 10 points while showing the ability to create opportunities for himself off the dribble and attack the basket. What separates him from many players is his unique combination of size and skill. His long frame allows him to disrupt opponents defensively, protect the rim, and control the glass. Whether contesting shots or grabbing rebounds in traffic, he consistently used his length to create extra possessions for his team. He was able to grab 10 blocks over the weekend and proved he is a reliable piece to any team.
