About Hayden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Team Player, setting screens, finding slots and trying to make plays for the team. I drive the rim pretty well and am fairly consistent from anywhere on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is always hard work, I’m passionate about winning though I know it won’t always end that way. I give 100% in everything I do. I am a team player and I try to show leadership qualities. But at the end of the day I just love to ball and that’s what we’re all on the court to do.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Student Leadership and Honors Society

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing competitive basketball has helped me develop strong leadership and teamwork skills, as I’ve learned how to communicate effectively, support teammates, and stay accountable on and off the court. It’s also taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of putting the team’s success above individual goals, while setting a positive example for others in my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is balancing the demands of competitive basketball with school and other responsibilities. There have also been challenges with tough losses, and maintaining consistency under pressure. These experiences have pushed me to stay disciplined, manage my time better, and develop mental toughness.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a strong basketball program that has a proven track record of developing players for the NBA. I want a program that will challenge me at a high level, provide great coaching, and give me the opportunity to compete, improve my skills, and gain exposure.
