Phenomenal ball-handler who thrived against pressure and in tight spaces, controlling the ball as if it were attached to a string. Hands, reach-ins, and physical bumps never disrupted his rhythm, allowing him to manipulate defenders and get wherever he wanted on the floor. His ability to navigate traffic and consistently create paint touches forced defensive rotations, generating drive-and-kick opportunities for teammates. Flores showcased a deep handle package with well-controlled pace, sharp hesitations, and change-of-direction moves that kept defenders constantly guessing.

Darius is a smooth operator on the offensive side of the ball – never seems in a rush or panicked and knocks down shots with a nice consistency. He’s excellent at recognizing open opportunities on the break and he eludes opposing defenders impressively well for his pace. He has solid hands defensively and a nice ability to recognize his streakers in transition and get them the ball up the court. Flores also shows the ability to rein back his jumpers if he sees a few rim out, which isn’t common for him with how he usually stays in a nice rhythm.
