Great balance. Bo plays with wonderful lower-body balance and power. His agility around the floor really leans upon this attribute and it helps him be dangerous defensively for ball-handlers. Because Bo is a strong guy he can and does get his chest in the way of guards. His footwork helps him get to "the spot" and set up the roadblock.

"Bo is a great kid," said Lewis County Head Coach Luke Scott. "He is a great kid in school. He is the guy that handles the ball for us in late game situations. He is a great leader."

Bo averages 3.4 assists per game.

"Overall, he has locked in more and figured himself out in the way he needs to play and help the team. Over the last 10 games he has figured out...we have three guys that can really score. Recently he found out that he helps the team so much more with being this leader, this facilitator. He realized lately that for us to do what we need to that is the player that he has to become and make the smart decisions."

[player_tooltip player_id='2746989' first='Dakota' last='Hull'] / Lewis County / 2027 / 19.6 ppg / 6.5 rpg / 2.4 apg

"He can score at-will, just about," said Coach Luke Scott. "He is great finisher around the rim. He put on a whole lot of weight this summer trying to get stronger and bigger. What we people don't realize is that he is a great mid-range shooter."

Incredible ball-handler for a 2A forward. Dakota's most impressive possession in the SF win occurred late in the first quarter. Hull skied for a defensive rebound off of a Summertown 3-point miss. Then, Hull dribbled upfloor, crossing the first defender smoothly and "broke" an ankle with a behind-the-back dribble a step later. With three men left to beat, Hull lifted his right arm to fend off a reacher and then dashed down the side of the lane for a challenged layup. On that play Dakota made the opposition look like their feet were stuck in mud.

"He plays out of position for us, but he is so skilled at the guard position," said Coach Luke Scott. "It is crazy to see him with his footwork. He plays kind of an old man game with his footwork and keeping people on his back."

Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='3540310' first='Maddox' last='Tanner'] started off quite cold as a scorer Tuesday. He picked it up as the game moved along though and finished with 21 points in a must-win encounter.

"Man, Maddox has really come on this year," said Coach Scott. "He has learned that 'I can pretty much do whatever I want on the offensive end.' If I want to beat the dude, I will beat the dude. If I want to shoot it, I will shoot it. He has gotten so strong in the off-season that he has really realized that he can go in and finish."

Tanner hunts driving lanes. His handle is good enough to help him probe effectively. Midway through the second quarter the spacing opened up a bit and Tanner instinctively slashed into the gaps of the defense. When he got his head down with pace, he was impossible for Summertown to stop.

Tanner's quickness is significant for the 2A level, but layups in traffic are not automatic if/when Maddox meets foreboding forwards in deep. The
