When I flipped back through my notebook from the #Top25Scouts Tournament, one thing was clear: impact was everywhere. Across divisions, across age groups, players were not just filling stat sheets, they were changing games. There was momentum swings, defensive stops, tough finishes, timely threes, and relentless energy. This event was loaded with prospects who understand how to influence winning. Here is a closer look at several players whose overall games demanded attention…

Caden Ponzer (5'2/SG/'32/Run Pure Elite)

IG: runpureelite2032

Caden is a young talent who plays with a lot of emotion. He competes on both ends of the floor, is a gritty defender, and shows a developing offensive repertoire. He has craftiness in his game off the bounce as well as when he is finishing in the paint. He put pressure on the rim but also put pressure on the defense with his ability to knock down the three, in which he would have qualified for sniper school had I been doing a sniper school article.

Silas Nixon (5'8/SF/'32/Team Durant)

IG: IamSilasNixon

Silas did a good job making plays on both ends of the floor. There is nothing flashy about his game as he goes about his business, and when it is all done, he has impacted the game across the stat sheet. He did this the entire weekend, consistently making hustle plays, providing interior point production, defending, and bringing energy and effort to every possession. He competes at a high level.

Kenny Flanagan (6'0/PF|C/'32/Team Durant)

IG: KKlockedin

Kenny impacted the game with his interior play as he brought contagious energy and effort. He is raw offensively, but at this age, there is nothing wrong with that as long as he is in the lab working. However, he did provide interior point production by receiving drop-off passes and getting put-backs from the offensive glass. His size creates mismatches, and oftentimes he ends up getting fouled and eventually accumulates several trips to the line. His game over the next few years all depends on his lab time.

Quinlan Spence (4'11/PG/'32/Team Durant)

IG: qtewtuf

Quinlan is a small lead guard who is quick off the bounce and does a good job putting pressure on the defense with his ability to get downhill. He is active on both ends of the floor as he is annoying on defense and thrives on offense when he has space to operate and use his speed, which kept defenders on their heels.

Jason Tynes (6'1/SG/'30/SC Elite Red)

IG: Jasontynes0

X:@Jasontynes0

Jason is a hard-nosed prospect to monitor and brings energy and effort to both ends of the floor. He does a good job making plays that shift momentum, and he showed his ability and potential, making it hard to ignore his game. He has the upside to be a legit scoring threat, as he has the off-ball tools to be a complementary offensive piece that brings it on every possession. What I like about Jason is that he is a player who will outwork his opponent, especially if they underestimate how hard he plays.

Xavion Lester (6'0/Wing/'30/Phenom United)

IG: Xay_lester21

Xavion is at his best when he attacks the cup, shrinks the defense, and makes good decisions in the heart of the defense. When he makes up his mind that he is going to get to the cup, it is difficult to contain him, resulting in either strong finishes at the rim or drawing the foul and earning trips to the line. He does most of his damage when he is confidently attacking off the bounce.
