Brevard County Report: Underclassmen Standouts

Brevard County continues to quietly produce intriguing college prospects, and the 2027, 2028 and 2029 classes have plenty of players who had strong high school seasons. This report highlights the names college coaches should be tracking this offseason.    The junior is a highly skilled wing who brings impressive versatility on both ends of the floor. He is a high-level shot maker with deep range on his jumper and the ability to stretch defenses well beyond the arc. Off the bounce, he can attack in straight lines and finish above the rim, adding another layer to his scoring profile. With a high basketball IQ, strong rebounding instincts, and high-academic appeal, he is an attractive prospect college coaches will want to evaluate closely this offseason.     The 3A-District 12 Player of the Year averaged nearly 12 points and 5 assists per game for the War Eagles while serving as the engine of the offense. He plays with a high basketball IQ, showing strong command of the basketball and consistently making the right reads. A reliable passer and steady decision-maker, he keeps teammates involved and controls the tempo of the game. Capable of scoring when needed or facilitating for others, he brings balance and leadership to the backcourt.     The junior is a quick, athletic slashing wing with good length and the ability to impact the game in multiple ways. The 2A District 12 Player of the Year is outstanding in transition, active on the glass, and shows promising playmaking ability for his position. Averaging 14 points per game for Holy Trinity, he has been a key piece in the team's run to the Regional Semifinal against The Benjamin School on Saturday night. Savage also brings value on the defensive end, using his athleticism and energy to disrupt opponents and contribute on both ends of the floor.     A proven shot maker with range, he averaged 13.9 points per game while knocking down more than two three-pointers per contest. He plays with a good feel for the game and understands how to find scoring opportunities within the flow of the offense. Continued development of his ball skills and ability to create offense off the dribble will further expand his impact as a scorer. With his shooting ability and basketball IQ, he projects as a valuable perimeter threat moving forward.     A solid perimeter shooter, he consistently knocks down open shots and helps stretch the floor. He can attack off the catch with straight-line drives and finish effectively in the paint. With a high basketball IQ, he makes smart decisions and understands how to play within the flow of the game.
