He might have a reputation as a scorer, but in he snagged 12 steals in this game. This made Cerda school record holder in steals in a game. That's a whole lot of extra possessions in 1 game from 1 player. He was a smart passer this summer and has kept that trend through this season. Thomas dished off 7 assists, leading to at least 14 points. That's critical when you look at an 11 point margin of victory.
