About Journey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a tall, versatile power forward that's a Junior. I like playing physical, crashing the boards, and doing the little things to help my team. I can score around the rim and step out whenever needed. I play hard on both ends and feel comfortable guarding, playing all positions.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm coachable and can take criticism, a hard worker and always team first mindset.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was involved with HOSA and is CPR certified, also honor roll.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed strong communication skills and teamwork through basketball. I've learned how to be a leader on and off the court

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The most significant challenge I've had to deal with was losing my father freshman year. This event affected my focus and how I deal with things. However this has made me grow as a person and taught me resilience, making me notice things I never did. This loss made me become a stronger person mentally, and focus on things in the present. What helps me now is knowing he would be proud of me.

What type of college are you looking for?

Honestly any college that pushes me to be my best, for my career though I want to become a travel nurse or travel ultrasound tech.
