One of the most talented prospects on the UAA circuit, Smith Jr has a unique blend of creation, strength and ball handling for his size. Coming from the Memphis area, the Tigers are one of the major schools involved in his commitment. I like the fact that Smith Jr played on the UAA circuit and has stayed at his local high school, getting tons of on ball reps. His efficiency in UAA play really stood out, making 69% of his shots at the rim.

The Canadian could be added to our rankings now that he's at an American prep school in IMG academy. An elite rim protector, Meyer had over 4 defensive stocks (blocks + assists) per game on the 3SSB circuit. Also a capable passer, Meyer has a ton of upside on both ends of the court. Meyer will need to put weight on to produce at the high major level but I have full confidence in his ability to get naturally stronger over the next few years. Meyer recently took a visit to Duke and holds offers to Florida and Michigan, all programs who have excelled at developing bigs at the college and professional level. I wouldn't be surprised if Meyer ends the cycle as a top 50 player in the country.

PSA Cardinals got hit by the injury bug more than any EYBL team this summer. With numerous top players injured for a peach jam run, Avent was looked to lead the team against the best of the best in the country. The opening day of qualifying Avent put the team on his back in an overtime win over Vegas Elite. I liked Avent's aggressiveness in the paint and ability to score in tight spaces. Off the board already, Avent committed to Michigan State over Xavier and Seton Hall in a tight recruiting battle.

Peck is a unique forward with impressive two-way potential. With quick feet for his height and the ability to protect the rim, Peck can make a difference at the rim or stretched out. Peck also is starting to expand his offensive game and a senior season at Davidson Day could give him more on ball reps. Dayton has made Peck a priority and with three NBA players from the forward position shows me their staff knows what they are looking for in versatile forwards and can get players to the next level. A power forward Dayton prioritizes is usually a player I want to buy stock in.

Smith has fit in well at Prolific Prep with some big scoring games as a spot-up shooter and closeout attacker for arguably the most talented prep team in the country. That type of offensive skillset at his size should make Jake Diebler really excited as Smith has been committed to the hometown Buckeyes for over a year. Sitting just outside the top 100 in other national rankings, I could see Smith making a jump if he continues this high level of play for Prolific Prep.
