Burnukara is a skilled sophomore wing with a good feel for the game and an understanding of how to play without the ball. He was especially impressive during 5-on-5 action where he scored 10 points in Game 1. He is a three level scorer with shooting range beyond the arc. He is an intriguing prospect to track, playing for one of the state’s top programs at Tampa Catholic.

Burnukara displayed his shooting ability throughout the camp, knocking down shots both off the dribble and off the catch. He’s aggressive when attacking downhill and uses solid footwork to create openings in traffic. Burnukara also showed a willingness to make the right play, finding cutting teammates when the opportunity was there.

Burnukara plays with a good understanding of shot selection and doesn’t force unnecessary attempts. He’s comfortable operating from the midrange or stepping outside to shoot it, while his aggressive approach gives him another avenue to generate offense. He also contributes as a passer and does a good job creating opportunities for teammates. His physicality shows up away from the ball as well, where he can set useful screens and create space for others. The combination of feel, toughness, and versatility gives him an interesting foundation.
