His game is not built on flash but on efficiency as every move had a purpose, and he consistently found ways to get downhill and pressure the rim. He thrived in transition, where his athleticism and decision-making stood out, and he finished well through contact. From the perimeter, Jerry is a real threat, comfortable pulling up off the dribble, shooting on the move, or spacing the floor for catch-and-shoot looks. His ability to knock down the three forced defenders to respect him outside, even though he can be streaky from deep. When he found his rhythm, he became a steady scoring option to complement his playmaking. He slashed his way to the rim with confidence and finished at and above the rim, flashing his athleticism. In the half-court, he was effective both facing up and with his back to the basket, taking advantage of mismatches against smaller defenders. He showed comfort operating in space, attacking gaps, and scoring through contact. Jonas has a strong understanding of the PG role, taking advantage of mismatches, orchestrating plays with poise, and adapting to defensive adjustments.
