About Erica

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play smart and very defensively. As a PG I am not selfish with the ball I make sure my team is on tempo.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say I’m very disciplined, I lift up others I congratulate them on good defense and offense. I don’t give up when things aren’t going my teams way I play hard and I love learning from my coaches and teammates to be better and learn form mistakes.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received awards for my gpa. I am not in any clubs outside of sport clubs.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I learned to always listen to what my coach and teammates tell me so I know what I can work on and get better at. I always try to lift up my teammates and hype them up I don’t get upset at bad shots or my teammates messing up, because we’re all still learning to get better.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes I have, I have broke my collarbone twice once in a car accident and the second time in a basketball game in 7th grade. It’s a big challenge for me because I still have pain in my collarbone and I used to be scared to get physical just in case I broke it again. Yes my collarbone still bothers me but I would say I don’t play scared and I did get better at my craft.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that is hard working that can teach me how to get better as a player. I’m looking for a college that strives to work hard and has a good coach who doesn’t play favorites and instead of puts you down they actually tell you what you could work on. I want to play for a college that challenges me.
